Karan Gill is a young and enthusiastic person who co-founded The Blockchain Hive. 😊🐝 He is currently studying in his third year at IIT Bombay. 🎓 Karan has a great passion for starting new ventures and previously started a project called Civic, which received recognition and a grant from DSSE, IIT Bombay. 🚀💡 He recently organized a big event called the Techfest International Blockchain Summit at IIT Bombay, where he invited over 16 speakers from around the world. 🌍🔥 Karan's story reflects his love for entrepreneurship and his focus on promoting blockchain technology. 💚🔗

What initiated the spark?

🎓🌐Two years ago, Karan attended a college event on Blockchain and web3, which sparked his interest in crypto. Delving deeper into the subject, he started to grasp the immense potential and future possibilities of this technology.💡💎 It felt like uncovering a hidden treasure, igniting Karan's journey into the world of web3. 🎓🌐💡💎🚀🌍

How was the process of finding a way through the scattered web3 space in terms of opportunities, and how did he figure it out?

After learning about web3 and exploring NFT projects like StepN, Karan became fascinated with blockchain technology. Inspired by play-to-earn projects, he envisioned creating a fitness app called Roxx, which would incentivize users to achieve their fitness goals. Although he didn't start building it immediately, he planned to do so in the future.

Meanwhile, while working as a marketing coordinator for Techfest, he got the incredible opportunity to lead the organization's first International Blockchain Summit. This experience opened doors for Karan, and after completing some blockchain courses, he founded his project called "The Blockchain Hive" in February 2023.

What was his first $ in web3 story?

In the world of web3, there are incredible money-making opportunities. 👨‍💻💰 Karan took the risky path of starting his own startup, which focuses on educating people and organizing free events in colleges. 🎓🌐 His aim is to empower individuals with knowledge about web3 and its potential. 🔥💡 Despite the challenges, he believes in the power of education to create a brighter future. 🌟📚

What He is doing right now & What are his future plans?

🚀 Karan is building something called The Blockchain Hive. It's like a special place for learning that uses a new technology called Blockchain. This technology makes it possible for students to own the things they learn and even sell them to others if they want. 💡📚 Karan wants to make learning easier and cheaper, so he's also organizing events and courses to teach people about Blockchain and a cool thing called web3. He's really excited about this new era and wants to take full advantage of it. 🎉🌐📲

What's His opinion/advice for people just starting in the web3 space or just trying to figure it out in general?
